This massive fantasy war hammer, inspired by Dwarven hammers, was forged from 1060 high carbon steel and is mounted on a straight-grained 26-inch American hickory handle with a 13-inch leather wrap. The spike and face spikes are both hardened and fully functional. The spike is nearly 7 inches long and features an aggressive tapered grind. The striking face has five brutal spikes that reduce the striking surface area and significantly increase the damage. Forged by Matt Hartwig (Co-founder) in our most recent video, where we compared the effectiveness of small, nimble historical war hammers versus the huge, brutish hammers seen in fantasy movies and video games.
 
Will and Matt were each given two days to forge and finish their hammers. They then tested them by smashing and crushing a variety of tropical fruits, as well as evaluating their ability to puncture armor of various thicknesses.
 
Because these hammers have been tested, we are offing a full warranty on the handles.
