These knives are carbon steel, which requires more care than a the average stainless Walmart chefs knife. The steel will develop a beautiful patina with time, and the patina it builds will actually help prevent the bad type of corrosion. If they do get rusty however, we are happy to restore and resharpen them. 
 
Each piece is one-of-a-kind, and no two will ever be exactly alike.
