The Wootz Vest Bowie
 
  This double lug integral fighting knife was forged by Will in the most recent YouTube episode, in which he attempted to uncover the secrets of the ancient alloy known as Wootz.
 
   The Wootz used for this knife was forged by master bladesmith Steve Schwarzer in 1982, when he attempted to rediscover the long-lost recipe for this mysterious steel. This bar was one of the first successful forgings of Wootz in the modern era, and over 43 years later, Will transformed it into this epic blade.
 
     The handle is just as special,  crafted from a rare piece of 1980s Westinghouse ivory paper Micarta. This knife not only represents several firsts in Will's bladesmithing career, but also carries  incredible historical significance.
